Sunset Cove's geography is its brand and its bottleneck: a long beachfront where connectivity fades exactly where the spending happens. Their previous cloud POS simply stopped selling when the signal dropped.
Athena's offline-first terminals keep billing, printing and deducting stock locally, then replay in order when the connection returns. The sunset rush — once a paper-chit scramble — now runs unattended.
QR codes on sunbeds let guests reorder without flagging a server, and cross-outlet tabs follow guests from the beach grill to the dinner table. Reconciliation, once a nightly argument, became a report.
